hi everyone!! first of all I want to say thank you so so much for the support, it is a huge relief to know that there is interest in my characters and I can make some money off of them in emergency situations. Everyone has been very generous and I am also very thankful to my friends and everyone else who boosted on twitter!

With that said, I have some good (but somewhat frustrating) news! So, my mom was finally able to get in touch with the insurance, and it turns out someone at the hospital made an EXTREMELY expensive mistake and sent the bill to us when it should have gone to the insurance — it was NEVER intended for us to pay in the first place. This is a massive relief and I am so sorry for stirring any panic, the past few months + 2022 have been extremely rough on me and my family and I just accepted it immediately as another piece of bad news. I am very frustrated with the hospital staff for making such a severe error that almost put us into horrible debt, though I am glad it is resolved.

I have wrapped up any pending sales and want to thank everyone again for buying my ocs! Even though it turns out we don’t have to pay 18000 dollars lol, it still is a huge relief to have earned some extra money that I can now set aside for future emergencies. I have worked very few hours this past year due to my own health issues and have thus made very little money, so it is a huge relief to make back some of the money I lost by not being able to work.

I have also been meaning to cut down on characters for a long time — though I let go of some designs I really loved this past weekend, it has actually been a big relief finally selling them. I really enjoy collecting characters, but work + school + health issues keep me from being able to really draw them much, and I have a lot of characters I LOVE but am not super personally connected to. I think I want to narrow down my ocs to just story characters and ocs im developing. Once I graduate I plan to sort my TH some more and do another purge after I’ve narrowed my designs down a lot.

Long story short: Hospital bill was a false alarm, but I needed to make some money anyways, and meant to clean up my characters, so selling my ocs was by no means a waste. I will do another purge once I’ve sorted my ocs some more, and want to thank everyone for the support!
