Questions about OCs

Posted 1 year, 4 months ago by SparkMaster37

I saw someone I follow do this, so like the OC-obsessed nerd I am, I'm following suit.

Give me some characters and numbers and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.

PAIGE
45 -What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?
Paige doesn't know what happens after death and is scared of what'll come.
33- In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?
Paige does not take criticism well, and is prone to crying.

MINTY
36 - How does your character behave around people they dislike?
Minty would try to avoid being around people she doesn't like. But if she must, she'll put on that happy mask and bear it.
22 - What does your character like in other people?
Minty likes those that are kind and unconditionally loving. And she prefers to be around soft and/or effeminate people. Uber macho types scare her. She tends to gravitate more towards kind people.

PASCAL
15 - Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?
Pascal is materialistic when it comes to clothing and objects of interest. Pascal likes to live his truth as an effeminate pastel goth boy, and doesn't give a fuck about what others think.
19. What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?
Pascal is very blunt and prone to teasing, which can turn people away from him. Pas is a very savage lad, so his friend circle is pretty damn small.

23, Ken -What does your character dislike in other people?

People who are judgemental, creepy, elitist, and narrow-minded. Also people who are negative 24/7, and project their negativity onto others.

30, Paris - What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?

Pesticides, rotten fruit, unsanitary environments.

Sage annndddd 2, 3, 27 (is this too many haha)

Sage

2 & 3- What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother n father like?

Not great, they don't accept Sage as a woman, unfortunately. She hasn't spoken to them since she moved to where Sam and co live.

27 - How does your character normally deal with confrontation?

Depends on what she's confronted about. She's able to retort when people confront her about things. But when it comes to personal issues, confrontation can be difficult.

Todd 36 - How does your character behave around people they dislike?

Todd holds his tongue around people he doesn't like and tries to be civil, like the peacekeeper he is. He's not one to openly express his disdain for someone unless pushed over the edge.

When Francis was in Noland's life, there were times when Todd, very diplomatically, tried to get the ass to see things from another angle. When finding out Francis was a raging narcissist, he seethed on the inside. Plus it was hard for him to see his bunny bud get treated badly.

Ben 24 -Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method?

Ben is the type to try a familiar methood first, but if he doesn't get results, its on to plan b. As a mechanic, it wouldn't be wise to keep stubbornly doing one way to fix a thing if it's not working.

Aaron 37 -Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?

Honestly, Aaron would rather not have attention drawn on himself. Aaron doesn't care much about his status in a community because he'd rather go unnoticed. He hardly has any honor on account of low self esteem. Aaron is sick of being misunderstood if anything.

8 Derek, pre-military - Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target?

Derek had gone to shooting ranges with his parents when he was younger. His first target was either one of those papers with a black sillouette, or a generic target. Derek must've been in his early double digits when he first fired a gun.

In the military, he's definitely fired a gun, but he's far more handy with knives.

17, Leif - What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?

I don't have a specific favorite in mind but Leif loved playing with Pokemon toys as a wee lad. He also went for super colorful stuffed animals.

40, Rina - How does your character treat people in service jobs?

With dignity and respect. Rina's the type to tip her servers at least 20%. She knows how obnoxious some customers can be - she does work as a bud-tender- so she doesn't want to give the cashier/server/etch any grief.
