my truesona!! her current name is kip, but idk if that’s too weird or confusing bc that’s what i go by online

my full online alias is kipper akira, so should i change her name to akira as if she’s my other half and make it a bit less confusing? it also feels a tad weird calling her kip

at the same time, she represents me so she has the same name. would naming my truesona akira make it too detatched?

I think kip is a lot cuter! akira has the japanese/anime connotation, which as far as I know isn't the vibe you're going for? it's also a lot more generic- akira isn't as unique, and doesn't specifically bring you to mind. kip is good because it's short, makes a point, and embodies your style- it's simple, embodying your thicker lineart, cute characters, and smooth-but-elegant coloring. I also don't really think akira fits your truesona's feral version, but it might work better for the humanoid. I agree that your truesona should embody you, since it is you- and kip is in thymeskip, so it's a cute little pun if you keep it!

there's also not really a lot of confusion, because you don't speak in the third person. you can also link your sona if it ever comes up in conversation to clarify, making the words blue, so there shouldn't be much of an issue ^^)

only thing to say about that one is that i actually was going for a japanese-like name, as i find them very pretty sounding :]

i’m not changing the name i go by if that was a bit confusing- just the name of my sona. so when i say kip, there wouldn’t be confusing between me and my truesona. however, if idk how to feel about changing the name of my sona, i could go either way
