You know, it’s a bit of a coincidence that I’m seeing people talk about ai art on here, while I just finished handling some dude who tried to finesse me into a commission with his ai “art” on DA.

I used to be along the lines of, “Well, perhaps if it was used properly-“ Nah. Fuck that.

I’m seeing ai adopts flood DA, being shat out at a hundred miles a minutes while actual artists designs are being shoved into the bottom of the well. I’m seeing artists who used to make bank off of adopts writing in statuses that the money’s no longer there for them, and that they’re leaving DA and the adoptable community as a whole to pursue other ventures in the art field.

My for you page on DA is half filled with ai adopts. I can’t go to that website for possible design purchases anymore because it’s getting harder and harder to find designs that were made by actual artists, not lazy people who put words in a prompt generator.

Art used to be a field in which it took creativity and skill to make adopts, but these days. That definition is fucking dead. I’m seeing artists quit making adopts and leaving DA because the ai ones are cheaper than theirs, and can be made at a faster rate.

It’s really fucking depressing, and I’m just tired of people pretending as if ai adopts aren’t flooding the market and screwing with it. Because it is. I’m seeing the side effects of it in real time. And it’s heartbreaking to see.

Anyways I just wanted to get this off my chest, because I’m getting sick of seeing the ai adopt circlejerk that’s been going around recently. XD
