 ADOPT TOS ✦

You are agreeing to these rules if you own a design of mine as a commissioned custom OR through sale! Please read the following rules carefully and thoroughly in order to prevent yourself from getting blacklisted!

LAST UPDATED APRIL 4TH 2024

I - Guidelines for Buying and Trading Adoptables

  1. Respectful Bidding

Let's keep things professional and friendly! Harassment won't be tolerated. Report any issues to me, and I'll take action.

  1. Easy Payments

When paying with PayPal, please include your Toyhouse name in the note. Missed information? No worries! Just let me know your PayPal name afterward.

  1. Communication

Backing out of a bid? No problem, just let me know beforehand! "Ghosting" (disappearing without a word) will lead to blacklisting.

  1. Clear Bids

Please state your bid as a specific number. Ranges make it hard to determine the final price.

  1. Holds and Cancellations

I can hold items for up to 2 weeks with a 25% upfront payment (non-refundable if payment isn't completed within 24 hours or the hold is canceled). Cancellations will restrict future holds.

II - Ownership of Designs

  1. Request permission before making changes to my designs.

Feel free to adjust colors, add/remove accessories, or change species! I'd love to see what you come up with, so please share your redesigns! I'll definitely give you a thumbs-up for your creativity.

  1. Prohibition on commercial use of my art and designs.

My art and adoptables are for personal enjoyment only. To use them commercially (for profit), the price doubles. Let's discuss the rights you need! Unauthorized commercial use will lead to a ban.

  1. Avoid using my designs to promote or endorse social injustices.

Under no circumstances should my adoptables be used to endorse or promote any of the following actions:

  • Homophobia, transphobia, or any form of discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Harassment, bullying, or threats towards individuals based on baseless assumptions made against certain minority groups.
  • Racism, ableism, sexism, or any other form of prejudice.
  • Pedophilia, bestiality, sexual abuse, or any other illegal and harmful fetish.

It's okay to portray my characters as villains (including pedophiles, racists, homophobes, etc.) as long as their actions are condemned. I don't support glorifying these harmful behaviors.

  1. Opposing Proshipping

I'm against proshipping (incestuous, pedophilic, or power-abuse relationships). Please don't use my designs for this, and if you do, kindly block me immediately.

Similar to villains, abusive relationships within the story are okay, but they MUST be shown in a negative light. There's no room for romanticizing abuse or power imbalances.

III - Reselling and Transactions

  1. Pricing Restrictions
  • Selling Price Limit: You can't resell my designs for more than you bought them for, unless you've added commissioned artwork (like a new pose or outfit). If you see someone inflating prices, let me know and I'll handle it respectfully.
  • Assessing Value: Feel free to consider the value of extra art you've commissioned or your own artistic additions when pricing a resale. It's up to you as an artist/trader to value your work fairly.
  1. Prohibition of Trades with Blacklisted Accounts

To keep things safe, trading my designs with blacklisted accounts is a no-go. This is a firm rule, trading my art with them will get you blacklisted too!

IV - My Personal Boundaries

  1. Inspiration Welcome, Impersonation Not:

My art style is an ever-evolving and dynamic aspect of my work as I continue to explore various techniques and approaches. I don't adhere to a fixed art style, so referencing and drawing inspiration from it is permissible. However, it is important to note that impersonating my art style is strictly prohibited.

  1. Drawing inspiration from my adopts and using color picking is permissible, but...

It is crucial to seek the opinions of the respective owners of the artwork being referenced. Obtaining their consent and considering their perspective is necessary when utilizing their work as a source of inspiration.

  1. Tracing, stealing, removing watermarks, and heavily referencing (such as replicating identical clothing, hairstyles, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

Tracing my art solely for personal practice is permissible, but it is essential to provide proper credit if the traced artwork is uploaded anywhere. Additionally, it is mandatory to seek permission from the original owner of the artwork being traced before sharing it. Any other forms of unauthorized use will result in immediate blacklisting. It should be noted that feeding my art to AI algorithms is considered an act of stealing.

  1. Respectful conduct is expected.

If I find any interactions to be unpleasant or disrespectful, I reserve the right to block individuals at my discretion. Being blocked does not necessarily lead to blacklisting; you may still engage in transactions with other artists, including purchasing adopts from them. However, maintaining a harmonious environment is important to me.

  1. Do-Not-Interact (DNI) criteria

The following groups of individuals are not welcome to engage with me or my content: Proshippers, Racists, Homophobes, Pedophiles (I will expose any pedophile behavior before blocking), Ableists, and those who exhibit similar discriminatory or harmful behavior. These are fundamental criteria that apply to all interactions.  Note the BASIC DNI CRITERIA
