so i was in a hotel trying to clean my ears with cotton buds because some pool water got in but because the buds are CHEAP as hell i think a small bit of cotton fell off and got stuck in my ear
its been blocked for a whole day now

i told someone about this and he said APPARENTLY COTTON BUDS ARENT FOR EARS????? it does say not for ears on the manual
I've always thought they were mainly for ears because my mom always asks me to clean my ears with them

WELL TF ARE COTTON BUDS FOR THEN?!?!?!?!?!? if they're not for ears, how do you clean them??? and why do hotel washrooms provide them????? TF

yeah cotton can actually hurt your ears too, like push the ear wax and cause a blockage-

Edit: don’t use this alone thoo, make sure you first use warm water or safe oils to loosen wax and such

got a pack of cotton buds next to me, and it mentions it's suitable for cosmetic use so maybe that's what they're for??? Though it also mentions cleaning baby skin so it could be for cleaning some stuff also

yeah its for makeup, it just baffles me though how swimming pool washrooms would provide them like - who in their right mind would bring makeup gears to a pool locker room lmao, and why would anyone swim with makeup on-

Cotton buds aren't to go in your ear canal (honestly nothing should unless a doctor is doing smthn) but can be helpful for cleaning the outside with all the cartilage folds or even behind your ears!! The inner ear doesn't really need cleaning unless you have wax buildup and they usually sell ear drops to dissolve it

no the buds are super cheap like -- the cotton is fluffy and not so intact to the stick idk how to explain
