People don’t realize how soul-crushing it is to receive rude comments about something that you’ve created. They truly didn’t learn “if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all.” Like yeah my art isn’t amazing and I’ll never be popular in the art circles I’m in but it makes me happy to create.
