Possible adopt / OTA ? (Design reveal + Poll)

I'm interested in the design! I would like:

17 Votes Flatsale ($155, First-come, First-serve)

18 Votes OTA (offers open for 2-3 days, $ offers prioritized)

Hi guys!
I've been sitting on this design for a while now and I'm super attached to it, but I think they could probably go to a better home who will show them more love & attention than I can atm ; v ;
Concept was just a silly pun of Sleep-bee & Pup-bee (sleepy and puppy cause I thought it was cute asjdf)

So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me putting this design up for (flat)sale / OTA??

I'd love to open my designs up to be available for longer than first-come, first-serve periods since I know many people are busy with life and can't catch my designs all the time, but at the same time I will always prioritize money offers over most other offers ;;;;;; idk if that makes OTAs kind of a cop-out aaaa
OTA minimum $ offers would be set at the $155 I usually do for flatsales as well, but offers would stay open for 2-3 days maybe?

Little Edit: the OTA option would be open to offering something else (art/character designs) other than $ !! But I would prioritize $ offers!
Idk if I should just straight up make the design an auction/bid-to-adopt type, since that will limit the sale to $ only ;;;;;
I feel like auctions are often a bit intimidating from what I've heard from people aaa idk if that's still how people feel??

Could you let me know what you'd prefer?

Also it's #doggust apparently so aaaa dog-themed designs this month, yes??

I think its a matter of if you're open/rly interested in a lot of designs out there. OTA's can be fun for people who don't have alot of money, but usually what's being sought after is rly $$$ so it just kinda loops back HAHAHA.

I think you should rly just focus on what you're looking for; you put in the work, and what you want is priority. Though If you want to give people more of a chance to grab your stuff and don't want an auction, then you could do a raffle flatsale? I've definitely got design/designers that I really adore, but at the same time I'm also picky nowadays since I don't wanna hoard for no reason! But yeaaah, that's what I've experienced too with OTAs! I might just meet in the middle and do a raffle flatsale, see how that goes for now! Can always explore the other options as things go on hhh

If you really want to get offers with funds then i think as you said putting an obligated flat price that is required for the ota would work! Otherwise it may get hit or miss if you get offered money which is your main source of income -nodding-

Yeaaah it's difficult I'd wanna open offers up, but in the end money would always be the priority hhhh
But yeah! I've been thinking maybe I should just test-run different styles of hosting adopt designs and see which work out best in the future/alternate so that different people get a shot at designs!

also reading the other comments, maybe another option would to do a raffle sale? 🤔 so its still the flat price, but it could give more people the chance to enter to try and grab the design?

Considering that too, yes!
I've had feedback in the past from some people that mentioned they like/don't mind raffle sales since it gives everyone a shot at trying for the design, so I'm keeping that open as an option as well!

Omg don't worry, I don't take that negatively at all! I can't help it either way since designs/commissions are my main income, so no hard feelings!!
But I'm definitely considering just sticking to fcfs flatsales depending on the feedback! I've heard from some other in the past that they tend to miss fcfs designs a lot since they're busy and can't check TH enough to have a chance, so I wanna see what the overall thoughts are atm!

But thank you so much for understanding as well! I'm trying to get a bit more of a grasp on what people gravitate towards for my designs since I'm just not around enough to know what the current thoughts on things are hhhh so I appreciate the feedback and am gonna try my best to adjust!!

Just a suggestion from what I’ve seen others do - instead of OTA or flat sale you can do a bid to adopt so it’s $ only but also extends past FCFS

I know of auction/bid-to-adopt types! I used to have designs set to auctions like that in the past, but I've seen people feel a bit negatively about auctions, so I'd be open to giving the option of offering something other than $, but would prioritize $ offers if that makes sense? That's how I've seen some people run their OTAs recently

Yes I’ve seen that too! It would also open mixed offers if you like those. Definitely up to you! The design is adorable
