happy october! while we enter this spooky month, it's important for another reason: october is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 100% of my commission proceeds will be going towards breast cancer awareness and research. this month is incredibly important to me, as my mom, as well as my grandma, are both breast cancer survivors, and theres a chance that i could get it myself in the future. anyone can get breast cancer, not just women. over 240k people are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. especially in america, breast cancer treatment is expensive, and black women have the highest death rates from breast cancer out of all demographics diagnosed. while there already has been so much research put into this, there's still so much more to be done.how can you help? support your friends and family who have suffered through this, share information about it, especially during this month, and donating to nonprofits and not-for-profits if you are able to (i've linked a few below).
