Please block me if you are supporting israel or "netural" as you cannot just be netural about the genocide going on right now, YOU ARE SUPPORTING A GENOCIDE.

Hello- So I know it isn't anybody else's job to educate me, but I'm a tad confused-

I live in a very conservative and christain household- and all I hear about are Hamas's actions- are Hamas and Palestine technically two seperate names for people? I mean I know Hamas is a terrorist organization, but I haven't heard much about Israel except for how the old testament says to support Israel, so we (in reference to household) apparently should?

"Hamas" as a word is a vice in the hebrew language- a word for relentless violence, doing whatever you want to benefit yourself or your organization at the expense of others-

Hamas in Aramaic is apparently a virtue? gaining valor by any means possible?

I've heard really bad stories about both sides and I'm really confused at this point-

Thank you so much! The specific passage most are quoting says to support Israel as a people- but people look at that and disregard the huge amount of sacred laws that Israel is breaking with the genocide- and for those who only get news from one source, it can be easy to funnel a positive view of Israel with that- I think war is bad overall- especially when it comes to crimes pertaining killing children or aiding in the killing of children (or furthermore, more disabled people who rely on certain things to survive, like insulin-)

I believe I understand a bit more now! Thank you again. Genocide is never excusable- and that moral doesn’t get waved due to some verse that is taken out of context.

Thank you! The main view of this as a purely religious fight stems from the story of Jacob and Esaw I believe? As genealogy would grace most Arabic people and nations back to Esaw? Doesn’t mean you get to steal, kill, and destroy for your own gain- especially an entire nation of people. Every human has worth- that should be respected.

This entire thing has been driving me crazy. I hear that they are supporting Israel, and then they weren't, and then they are. And there is a lot of proof to prove that they are. Thank you for this post, it helped me a lot.

DA has always been a hellhole imo. But this is a new low.

Yeah Amino tends to have problems especially when it comes to bots and trolls, I'm a little unsure about any sort of drama behind the scenes so ya might need to tell me about that

I only use it for a very small community that only has like three people active daily because of my friend group on there plus another community I use for rp
