NOTICE: Discord File Hosting

Posted 4 months, 6 days ago by Arkaingel

Discord is planning to change the way their file hosting works by the end of 2023. I cannot find the announcement post but if you've noticed how long the discord image links have become, that's due to the generated tokens discord has incorporated so that image links expire after 24 hours, requiring users to replace the token each time if they want to host the image.
My codes were built with discord image assets and I will be replacing any assets on my P2U, F2U, and selective Custom layouts with a different image host soon.
Please take the opportunity to grab new links for any using discord's file hosting for your own layouts before those links stop displaying anything.
This forum has linked to comments with alternative resources you can use. I am switching to file garden myself.

Fuck discord bro 🤡

EDIT: F2U, P2U, and visible custom layouts have been updated

I switched to File Garden too for file hosting, works very well with my images on TH for me ^^

I like that I can paste images in since thats why I liked using discord to begin with

Granted if I moved anything id have to redo all the links again ahhaha

Me too, I find it really useful ^^

I wish you good luck on updating the images ^^
