went 2 my first wedding today

its my older cousin's

i think i look kewl
thought we were late but we weren't after all
my cousin (groom) made an entrance on an arm throne by his friends (groomsmen) they're so goofy
it was also funny during the wedding that people didn't know when to clap and we could hear random clapping noises spawning here and there
i disliked the food but my food-loving younger cousin acted as my food dispenser & i gave him all the shit i didn't want
i told him a kid i saw was cute and he asked "so you like kids now?" then he wiped his mouth. I was like "aw you're kissing your handkerchief what a sweet couple I hope you make many little handkerchief babies" he went ballistic LOL
we then laughed at ai generated photos on reddit for half an hour & played brawl stars
there was a dance session, and my cousins and I were reluctant to participate because of how awkward it was but we went anyway after our parents dragged us to. i stood there, my mom started swinging my arm and my cousins joined in. i became a ragdoll dancer jumping from left to right comedically
had ice cream after i arrived home to make up for the lack of good food tonight i love ice cre

before the wedding my mom decided to put stuff on my face to conceal the acne but she overdid it and used a skin whitening powder (i have tanned skin and looking white is, somehow, a major beauty standard for the Chinese) so i looked like i just came out of a morgue. i hate it
she also spent so much time applying the corpse powder that i was late for class
after class i went to meet up with her at a location she specified & she screamed at me for making us late to the wedding, even though i took reasonable time traveling from the tutorial center to her
she screamed again after she failed to call a cab multiple times which is definitely a skill issue rather than a daughter issue
wtfreak i was at a table where i don't recognize half the people but i had to socialize. what do you mean i have to greet this awkward half-japanese middle-aged-looking man and call him cousin, since when was my family related to the japanese, why was this cousin of mine never mentioned, WHO IS HE WHY IS HE ALONE WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE JAPANESE
bro most of the food was chinese seafood 😭 I'm afraid of most seafood and I'm so not a fan of the chinese cooking method either. the only normal foods were 2 small pieces of chicken and some fish
my napkin fell 3 times and i gave up i just didn't wipe my mouth in the end BAHAH

overall it was interesting but i hope the next wedding i go to will be more westernized. don't torment me with chinese seafood again, at least give me some carbohydrates man

I wish I had cousins 😭 they sound like a pain in the neck but all I have is a younger sibling and zero relatives so at least other people have something interesting to talk about lmao- I’m glad the wedding was mostly fun 😅

lmfaoo weddings are fun sometimes but im usually here for the food
last time i went to a wedding was my aunts, well me my brother and cousins yoinked all of the sweets from tables
