As some of you may know I’ve been trying to get a wheelchair for a while due to my disability making it extremely hard to walk. 

I finally have an appointment to get assessed for one, which is a huge step, but it’ll cost me $50.

Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but due to some unexpected expenses and an issue with my benefits not giving me the money needed for my bus pass, just this $50 expense will leave me too broke to buy food this month.

I’m in the shelter system, and more often than not I can’t eat what they make for meals here, but without enough money to buy my own food, I’m stuck.
