i am . kind of devastated. i have to get a new ipad and i have nowhere near ebough to afford to .. im going to see what happens when i get my tax return though and see if there are any options for payment plans for me. i may have just lost all my WIPs and brushes though... i'll be okay! just a big setback.

I am sorry you may have lost so much work. That really sucks. And like I am glad you'll be okay, but it still sounds awful and hard to deal with, plus very frustrating, so honestly I think being upset about it is very valid.
Wishing you the best on getting a new ipad! I don't know if this info helps but just in case:
Apple has a refurbished store that has them a lot cheaper than full price (I have used 3 diff refurb ipads from them, no problems, and you get the same guarantees as if it's new). I also know some other storefronts like amazon and other technology-centered store will often do their own refurb sales, just their guarentees are different than apple's.

NOOO IM SO SORRY VANI... i really hope you're able to get one with what you have, i had a similar scare last year with my ipad and pencil and it is not fun at all T_T
