And if I say no, please don’t get upset that I rejected you :/ really proves that you’re an ass

And don’t go tryna guilt trip me — or anyone for that matter — into making you free stuff smh 🤦‍♀️

If you want some art from me, considering commissioning. Sometimes I even offer limited free doodles, so it won’t hurt you to be patient either

Jesus, that’s terrible and so incredibly manipulative. I make free art for my friends because I love them, it would be horrible to learn the only reason someone wanted to talk to me was free art and not for friendship (which is it’s own reward!!). I can imagine that would stick with you for a long time...

I absolutely agree!! This happened to me 2 days ago and I felt so uncomfortable!! I do freebies, but mostly for mutuals/friends or when I feel like it. Don't ask artists for freebies out of the blue ty!! If somebody did that to you, I'm really sorry D:

I really need to ask you for the free art where I pay you accordingly to your rates some time! Jokes aside, I'm sorry people have been doing that to you. I think people who do this are extremely shitty, along with the people who only make friends with artists because they think friendship = free art.
