So, currently I use procreate for my art, but I've been working on a character reference sheet for some time now and I really need a good program for the layout and type. Back when I used Photoshop I would do stuff like this, but since I don't really wanna pay for that, I need an alternative. Preferably free with NO AI features.
Any suggestions?
I use a slightly older version of autodesk sketchbook combined with some of GIMP. Both are free.

It's not free but I use clip studio paint ^^ it has texts in it and can make boxes and such. I'd be happy to help create layouts for you to use if you wanted help that way as well
An example layout I did on clip (with your art of course) https://toyhou.se/11550869.night-light/gallery#51308576

I do use firealpaca some times, but I'm not a huge fan of the layout options when it comes to reference sheet stuff- for art its amazing, though! Same goes for procreate; good for art not so great for layouts. I'll check out Medibang Pro, though!
