BRO THAT SUCKS 😭 I've been hacked like 3 times and have like a fear of it happening again but it's finally convinced me to stop opening random messages from strangers and put on two step authentication 💀 hope you get your stuff back!

unfortunately i couldnt tell in my situation because the hacked account who dmed me has mutual friends and we've never interacted before, so i cant say they're a complete stranger but i also don't know what their usual texting style is </3 plus i do have 2fa but its useless in this scamming method

i recieved the same scam before LMAOO they sent me a screenshot of a google doc with more screenshots of discord emails in it. it was just some random person ive never interacted with (no mutual servers or friends) so i blocked lmao. dont trust that sort of shit ever lol. if you got falsely reported then discord probably wont take action on ur account anyway

summary - i gave away my email and i got locked from my account i didn't even give my password away so idfk how that happened

longer version - a hacked account said that my account was falsely reported and i had to contact a "discord staff" to verify my identity, it seemed legit cause they provided fake screenshots of an official discord email as proof
