it was brought to my attention today that some people may had been under the impression that i had sold a character with nsfw artwork to a minor. as far as i can tell, this is false.

the only way this would be true if it were a mistake on my behalf. as seen in these bulletins (1 2 3 4) characters that come included with NSFW are always marked as 18+ and i often clarify that i am only selling them to adults. even when that isn't included they are still marked as 18+ and the fact i'm only selling them to adults should be common sense. 

though, i do often delete bulletins. i have been in dire enough places to not be able to deny somebody purchase of a character that includes adult content. though i know for a fact in these situations the art would be deleted. i would definitely clarify beforehand that if a minor was interested in purchasing a character with nsfw then the images would be deleted and they would never be seen in the first place considering all of my adult work is behind an authorization AND a mature label. even if somebody who was under aged was authorized (they wouldn't be.) they still wouldn't be able to see the artwork as long as they weren't lying about their age on their profile. 

and yet this is me giving the rumor itself the benefit of the doubt and i am not actually certain if this even happened, this is just the most likely explanation if it had happened. under no circumstances would i ever intentionally share nsfw artwork with a minor. if you are under 18 years of age and i have accidentally sold you a character with adult artwork then please message me. if you have evidence of this happening then please message me. i have already asked for evidence and have been trying to get in contact with the person who had initially said this on the chance that my memory is failing me and i have actually done something wrong.

that being said, something as serious as this should have not been confined to just rumors. the fact multiple people have heard this and weren't concerned for the alleged minor is extremely disappointing. instead of any genuine concern for safety being shown this was instead used to belittle my name. i am far more concerned about the safety of minors on this platform and whether this actually had happened or not, but i feel that it is important to clarify that this is my main source of income. for many artists on here selling adopts and commissions is their main source of income. spreading such heinous rumors directly effects peoples livelihoods. 

when you hear somebody is being victimized you should reach out and look for evidence. people who willingly share and expose minors to adult content have no place on this platform. if you hear that somebody has possibly been victimized you should look into it either in hopes of preventing more people from getting hurt or come to find that it simply isn't true. 

i am extremely infuriated that this has been confined to rumors and if somebody had actually been victimized then nothing would have been done. blocking people and spreading baseless rumors does not prevent minors from being victimized.
