Terms of Service

Please read through our Terms of Service for information about obtaining and owning a SoftBot. By obtaining one of our species, you are agreeing to follow the terms below.

SoftBots are a Closed Species created by Gakuran and capricorn

General

• SoftBots are considered a closed species. You cannot make your own without permission from the creators.
• Do not use SoftBots or any Poltera related art/creations for commercial or promotional purposes. They are to be used for personal use only. You can draw, commission, write stories and print only for yourself.
• We reserve the right to our creations. We have the right to distribute, reproduce and use the images as display for sales and/or self-promotion.
• By purchasing a design, you are buying partial rights. You have the right to the design, but we reserve the rights to the species, lore and artwork (if made by the creators.)
• Submission of SoftBots to AI generators or use in AI art is prohibited and anyone found to be doing it may get banned from SoftBots.
• Please give proper credit when re-uploading to your own account. For species credit, it should go to both creators while the artwork credit goes to whoever created the image.

• Violations of rules will be met with a warning and clarification by the creators in case of any misunderstandings. Repeated violations will be met with bans that are either temporary or permanent depending on the offense.
  • if you are banned temporarily, you cannot purchase or trade for SoftBots for an agreed amount of time by the creators or participate in the community.
  • if you are banned permanently, you cannot purchase or trade for SoftBots, period. The SoftBot will be frozen until they are either sold or traded to a member in good standing.

• Co-owning is not allowed.

Payments

• Payment will be done via Paypal Invoices in USD ONLY. Any other currency will be refunded and asked to send in the correct currency.
• Payment must be made within 24 hours unless there was a prior agreement to extend the deadline. If the deadline is not met, the adopt will go back up for sale.
• There will be times where payments will be split between two invoices if the adoptable is a collab between the two creators.
• You must be 18+ in order to buy a SoftBot. As per Paypal's terms of service, we cannot accept payments anyone under the age of 18. Of course minors are allowed to adopt one by other means such as Trading or Gifting, but we cannot sell a SoftBot to you if you are underage.
  • EXCEPTION: If you are under 18 and you have permission from a parent/guardian to purchase a SoftBot using their account, we will allow the purchase.
• Once adopted, you will not be refunded and all charge-backs will be disputed. You have committed to buying an adoptable from us and that was your choice. Please be sure that you want a SoftBot before you purchase. You will not get your money back if you are not satisfied.
• We will not accept payments from new or non-interactive and empty deviantArt accounts. Accounts that are less than 6 months old will not be allowed to purchase a SoftBot. If you have moved accounts, please provide your older account as voucher. Someone who is trusted in the adoptable community can also vouch if necessary.

Reselling / Trading / Gifting

• If you did not buy a SoftBot, you are allowed re-sell them. All designs may only be resold at the same price they were originally bought for. This includes any 'vouchers' or 'addons' to trades. You can check their masterlist for the maximum price they can sell for.
• You may trade your SoftBot for whatever you find acceptable.
• You may gift your SoftBot to whoever as long as they are not a person who received a ban.
• All ownership changes must be done via the Masterlist by the current owner listed.

Voids

• Voiding a design will permanently remove the Softbot design from the species to be used outside the group with no affiliation. Voiding is permanent, and you will not be able to bring the design back to the species, so this should be used as a last resort option!
• Voids may only be done to MYO designs made & designed by you.
• You cannot void Official Softbot designs or myo designs made by other users, even with permission.
• MYO designs able to be voided have a 6 month cool down before they're able to be officially voided, before 6 months all designs are void-locked.
  • To void a design, please send a DM to the Masterlist account with a link to the design, and a new reference devoid of all Softbot-like traits including: blood tubes, blood-filled horn, drape, and certain mods.

Blacklist

Do not under any circumstances trade/sell/gift to these listed people. They have broken our rules and are no longer allowed to own SoftBots.
Any SoftBots under their ownership will be frozen until traded.
