I know when aren't I having a semi-emergency

My PC blew up last night and now won't stay on for more than a minute at a time - my IT friend is coming over tomorrow night to try and fix it but there's a not 0% chance he'll either have to order in parts (which I'd pay for ofc) or I'll end up having to take it into a shop and I really can't afford that. I've just had to fork out $200 to get a professional deep clean of my apartment to see if that helps my chronic ear infections since my doctors are at a total loss and it's the only thing I haven't tried SOB
