so, in the midst of tinkering around with simple design making and doodles, i've realized something...

i can't use my wrist to detail. if i do, i get these awful cramps in my hand that make it impossible to get anything done. that's the main reason as to why i've been hesitant to resume commissions, since i'm a heavily detail oriented person and most of my charm in drawing comes from the extra love and effort put into my work. :-[
working with my shoulder and upper arm is fine, but it usually suits more for sketching and color blocking. that's why i've racked up a heap of WIPs that are left unfinished because im unable to finish them. most of the adopts / raffles i've been posting have been premade or base adopts. it saddens me, especially knowing that i have a queue i haven't been able to touch in weeks. it's always on my mind.

regardless!! as i pace myself and explore my limitations, im learning more each day and slowly regaining the confidence to start up on my queue again. my estimate for that is either sometime this week or next week, hopefully! i greatly appreciate all the support and kind words from you guys and im looking forward to working with what i've got <3
