our school has this big end-of-year concert that we do that every fine arts group is in

and I just performed a xylophone solo in it

nobody else got a standing ovation,, but I got one. and my director said he was proud of me. and I got hugs from parents and friends and I cried so hard

I’ve literally never been more proud in my entire life. I’m never gonna forget the moment when everyone stood up and they were cheering and yelling and I just,,, i love remembering why im going to school for music next year

the best thing is that we perform the show 3 more times this weekend too so I get more shots at it
