ADOPTABLE TERMS OF SERVICE // last edited 3/17/22

These rules are agreed upon by, and apply to, all who purchase my products.

Please feel free to model your own rules off of these if it helps you.

RESELLING/TRADING

My designs may be re-sold, traded, and gifted. Resales must match the original purchase value of the adopt, with additives only for commissions purchased or art personally made. Designs received in a trade may be resold following the above rule. Do not calculate a trade resale's value based on anything but the adopt's original sale value + commissioned / personal art added. *Sales of traded designs require an appraisal from me UNLESS you include the original sales post of the adopt in your resale, which will have the value. Designs received as gifts may also be resold, following the above rules. Please use extreme caution when gifting designs, and be sure that you would not be upset to have a gift be sold. Under NO circumstances should my adopts be used in any form of cryptocurrency trading or NFT minting.

CO-OWNING

When owning any design by me, I will not acknowledge co-owners. Designs can be shared, but one person must be acknowledged as the sole owner. Co owning is done at one's own risk.

RECOLORING/EDITING

All edits to designs by me and/or within my closed species (MYO included) must be run by me for confirmation. You are allowed to edit on top of my artwork, with proper credit toward myself for the original art, and you for the edits. Regarding MYO from my species, please consult the individual artists for permission to edit their work. Do not commission others to make edits on my work, even for clothing additions. All edit work must be free/personal. Do not ever delete the original adopt, even if you edit it. Further edits will always be based on the original when considered for approval. Edits to closed species must closely follow this guide and be properly approved by me.

PRODUCT QUANTITY

Each purchase, unless specified specifically on the sales post, is a single design for one character. Twins may be created, ONLY if they are kept as a single design & owned by a single person. They cannot be sold or traded separately, unless both are officially paid for. You are allowed to create "alternate forms" of a character provided you have the permission of other artists / species owners involved, and as long as each form is still kept with the original design

COMMERCIAL RIGHTS

You are not allowed to use my art of the design for profit in any way. You are not allowed to include my designs in games/comics/videos and other mass media consumed materials for profit. You may make charms/shirts/prints/business cards/post cards featuring the character you have purchased, so long as they are made in limited quantity, and the art is YOUR OWN art, or art purchased from another user with explicit permission from them to use their art in such a way.

RE-POSTING

Only rightful purchaser & owner of my work may re-post the art they've received, and public re-posts are required to have some form of watermark and/or resizing to avoid easy thievery.

REFUNDS

Finished adopts will under no circumstances be refunded once paid for. Please see the resale section in regards to letting go of your adopt. Regarding custom purchases, once the linework, colors and markings have been confirmed by the buyer, refunds will not be permitted. A full refund may be requested at any point before this stage. When requesting a refund on a custom design within the allowed period of production as mentioned above, the user will receive a full refund within a two-week period. Any art produced for this custom may be used by the artist as they see fit, as all rights to it are forfeit by the purchaser upon receiving a refund.

PROHIBITED CONTENT

Publicized art of my designs that include subjects such as: sexual artwork with children, hate speech & racism in any real world context, Will NOT be tolerated, and you will be warned.

Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning, which will become a block/blacklist if rules are repeatedly broken.

Hi! At this time there isn't, I'd need to compile lore/anatomy info and I'm still at this time not very keen on people using them for profit since I wanted them to be open for fun >_<;; so it's a big WIP since my other species are already very demanding.

If you have a specific question regarding a species you remember or old character you own by me, you're free to note me about it!

Hello! Sorry if this is actually around somewhere, but i cannot seem to find any listings for commissions ! Do you not accept them ? I see a lot about custom character designs & species, but nothing about commissioning art of an already existing OC. sorry if i missed something!

Considering Preamies are retired, I'm guessing there won't be MYO slots for them? I was hoping to get a Preamy Alt for my sona.

Unfortunately no, there won't be. They were a crossbreed, and at this point I'm just considering them a limited time thing that's ended, since there will be a long long time before I ever develop prowls enough to consider crossbreeding them with dreamies again.

Hi! They're still a CS of mine, and one I intend to revisit, but currently I don't have revamped info/sheets for them. As of right now I don't really offer old species to be converted into other CS since it's a bit complicated to deal with.

I have a question about dreamy editing rules:

so someone offered to trade me their dreamy and im tempted to accept since it would be my first dreamy, however the colors arent my favorite in the world tbh. so i was wondering, if i were to get the dreamy, would i be able to change the colors? not the pattern.

and if thats allowed do u need to have it approved/where do i get it approved?

If the markings stay the same, changing the colors to whatever you like is totally fine. ^^ If the colors are changed drastically and the markings are also altered, that's when it becomes a bit iffy because the new edit has to look enough like the old design that I couldn't approve it as its own MYO, if that makes sense! I just want to make sure the spirit of every design is respected so they're not turned into something else entirely.

As for how to get it approved, just pm me with the original + your changes and I'll let you know if it's good to go :] if it's not, I'll give you suggestions on how to fix it.
