Okay, so you saw these two characters I uploaded not too long ago, right?

Well, for those who aren't aware, both Rift and Nihil are characters from a game that I'll be making. It hasn't gone past concept stage yet, since I still need to design all of the enemies/other characters/levels/etcetcetc and write out the overall plot of it, but it'll tentatively be a simple platformer game. For now, you can read the intro from the platformer concept Doc I've made:

Rift and the King of Nothing is a 2D side-scrolling platformer that follows the adventures of the titular star jelly who’s on it’s quest to stop the eponymous King Nihil, whose plan is to reduce all things into nothingness, and reclaim the World of Pala as his own. Having sent his three loyal vassals to invade three of the six lands, Rift must be as quick as possible to save the world from being reduced to nothing, otherwise it will be too late.

Rift can “run” and jump throughout all 6 lands, as well as collecting gold along the way. However, it can also defeat a variety of enemies, from stomping on Droppies, to attacking Kikoas.

Again, this is currently in concept stage, so time will only tell if the game will get past it. Since I have almost no experience with coding, I have to rely on game engines that don't need it (i.e. Stencyl). For now, enjoy Rift and Nihil, even though they barely have info on their profiles.

ETA: On a related note, Rift will show up for ArtFight this year! I have my character lineup cleaned from last year and added a handful of new ones, so see you in July... maybe.
