i've learned that the reason why digital art takes me so long + not having the motivation for it is due to my very unoptimized way of doing it. i used the curve and line tools it takes hours just to finish one thing.

so solution! recently i've been experimenting with only using the binary tool and 1) i enjoy the process and 2) it's actually a bit faster. the "downside" is that my lineart is more noticeably shakier/uneven but i just don't care tbh

i think i began digital art in 2017 and since then my perfectionism has always taken over. but now that i've developed some i just don't care. i used to get so upset if i even slightly perceived my art being "bad". but now i love anything i create. sometimes it looks wonky but it gives it that human feel. the imperfection of it!
