❂  At present I accept PayPal and Square/cash.me I will occasionally do commissions for Steam games.

❂  Rarely I will do art trades and these are often restricted to mutuals. If you’d like to do an art trade, please include samples of your work in your initial correspondence.

❂  DO NOT ASK FOR FREE ART. I host freebie streams on occasion. Try following my Picarto at picarto.tv/NoEden

❂  No work will be delivered until the invoice is paid in full. There are NO refunds after the sketch stage unless I believe I will not be able to complete the work for some reason. I will make an attempt to explain the reasoning and refund you for any work not completed.

❂  Payment plans may be discussed for larger pieces (over 100USD) with a down payment before work begins. Rush orders are accepted for a nominal fee.

❂  I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

❂  Sketches will be submitted for approval. Changes to pose and features must be made at this time. Once completed, any changes to colors or features EXCEPT WHEN MENTIONED IN INITIAL CORRESPONDENCE will incur an extra fee. You can get quite a few edits during the sketch phase! If you choose not to go forward with the piece at this point (or I produce additional pose samples) I reserve the right to sell any unused sketch as a YCH pose.

❂  My art is not to be posted to other galleries except by the commissioner. When posting the work, you must credit me and link back to my gallery in some form or fashion. (Something as simple ‘by NoEden on FA’ will suffice).

❂  You may not alter, or pay someone to alter, my work. For example sketches and lines may be colored by yourself or by another artist for free, AFTER asking my permission first.

❂  My art may not be used commercially (i.e. no mass production of shirts and other materials) in a way that makes you money unless I specifically design it that way (i.e. album covers and logos). It may be used for personal tattoos, badges, and other items. At present my fee for commercial use of my work is 150USD.

❂  I reserve the rights to my art. This means I may use it in art books, on Patreon, as prints, and as samples to advertise my work (in advertisements, price sheets, so on and so forth). It may be posted to any number of my galleries (Furaffinity, Deviantart, and Tumblr being most prominent). Your character copyright will be retained with the image wherever it is used (usually with a notation as to character name and who it belongs to). If you wish to keep your finished commission private, you must state beforehand where you do not want your image posted. There may be a small fee for this.

❂  My art may be used to increase the sale price of a character. For characters I designed, you may not sell it for more than you paid without including additional art pieces.

❂  Sketch Phase:: I do some messy sketches to kind of hash out what you'd like to see turn out. This is where most of your edits should be made. If you're ordering an experimental commission, I might toss in some colors to see if it's about what you'd like.

For experimental and line/grayscale commissions, this is the only time you get to see your piece before I finish it out. If you have corrections, make them now! No matter what type of piece you ordered, there are NO REFUNDS once I finish this stage. Any unused sketches may be used on other pieces or converted into YCH work.

❂  Lining:: Whether you choose a refined sketch or clean line, the sketch is cleaned to a cohesive piece. This is the last step before coloring so I'll be checking in to make sure everything's looking alright and I didn't miss anything silly.

❂  Coloring:: Flat colors are laid out. If you chose a background, I'll probably rough that out with some additional shading to make sure everything is placed well.

❂  Shading:: This tends to be the longest stage aside from lining. For typical full color drawings this is adding shades and highlights. For paintings, this step is absolutely the longest: the lines are slowly removed by painting over the base drawing (I'm essentially redrawing almost the entire thing, along with zooming in to agonizing microscopic proportions to make sure the shines are right. It is INCREDIBLY boring to watch, sorry.)

❂  Final Touches:: I'll send you the high-res work either through sta.sh or another method for confirmation. If anything is missing or colors are off from the original order, I'll be happy to fix it! If I'm missing something you DID NOT mention in the original order, I reserve the right to charge an extra fee to fix it. After that, a smaller version will be posted to my media and high res to Patreon. Feel free to share your new work!
