The commissioner’s rights:

• Any personal (non-commercial use) is allowed. The commissioner is free to use the commissioned piece/character design in any non-commercial manner, including personal projects (such as: free-to-play videogames, literary creations*, free music albums under Creative Commons license and etc).

• The commissioner is free to repost the commissioned piece anywhere online, giving a credit to the author.

• Creating physical copies of the commissioned piece and printing it on any physical objects is allowed as long as it is done for non-commercial purposes.

• Editing and alteration (such as: cropping, repainting, coloring and etc.) is prohibited.

• Turning the commissioned artwork into an NFT is strictly prohibited.**

• The commissioner remains the one and only owner of the original characters and/or creatures depicted on the commissioned piece. The author ensures that they will not sell the commissioned piece as an NFT. 


The authors rights:

• The author owns the copyright for every commissioned artwork or design they created;

• The author reserves the right to post (or not) all the finished commissioned pieces on their social medias;

• The author reserves the right to post the high resolution files, WIPs;

• The author reserves the right to use the commissioned pieces for self-promotion;

• The author reserves the right to refuse working on the commission without the explanation (ONLY before the sketch is approved and the prepay is proceeded);

• The author will not provide the commissioner (or anyone else) the original file in .psd;


General rules:

• References and text descriptions are always required, no matter which subject is supposed to be depicted on the commissioned piece; 

• The commission inquiry is automatically rejected if it contains these themes and subjects:

 real people, gore, any depictions of sexual harassment, torture and other physical abuse***, hard porn.

• If the commissioner is underage it is automatically supposed that they have parental concern;

• All the commissions are put on Waiting List. The commissioner has a right and an opportunity to check the waiting list at any time;

• The commissioner gets the high resolution file of the commissioned illustration/character design as soon as the full payment proceeds;


* Exceptions:

Using the non-commercial commissioned piece as a cover illustration for novels, fanfiction and other literary creations monetized through patreon or similar services with the paywall is not considered a commercial use. However, selling the physical copies and/or digital versions of the book with the commissioned cover and/or illustrations is considered a commercial use.

** Doing so you get automatically banned from commissioning the artist forever. The artist also reserves the right to inform the general public of the commissioner monetizing the copyrighted images. 

*** Except fencing, sparring and fighting characters and any other examples of the fair fight.
