For those of you who haven't seen it on my twitter, I recently fell into a rabbit hole of a fantroll dealing weirdo. Steer clear from them and their million sockpuppets.

Reading this made me go back through my inbox, and yeah they messaged me a bit ago about a troll I brought from you. Super glad I don't see her on this and really hope she doesn't end up with them c':

The message made me feel so off that I ended up going through and rechecking I had watermarks on every single character I owned, so glad to know my weird kneejerk reaction might've saved my kid from being stolen even just a little bit

Yeah they pretty much approached everyone who bought troll adopts from me :/ Good on you for using watermarks, I should double down on them as well

Well in that specific context they only tried using it as "inspiration" (although it's still quite scummy that they constantly ask other artists to basically copy my designs), but honestly who knows at that point :/ I think the only thing that might've stopped them from just stealing the slug is that they clearly didn't have an unwatermarked image of it

Im so livid, I got scammed out of one of my trolls and for a year Ive been trying to get it back but toyhouse has not responded. Idk if it would be appropriate of me to just reclaim the design since payment was never sent to me but this is the troll in question

Yeah thats the one! The must of deleted it while I was asleep but I have screenshots of our transaction and also I still have the deleted account in my dms and the toyhouse messages that were all ignored
