ceeony allowed me to acquire their old species Escorpi, and I am incorporating their lore into the species I was planning so I can have a more solid idea for them! I mat or may not change the species name slightly, but we'll see! For now I'll use their current name. Going off of feedback from my last bulletin, here's what I have for ya:
TAILS
⇒ The most common tail types are "bony" tails and scorpion tails. Scorpion tails will have an eye on the stinger.
⇒ Animal tails (wolf, fox, dog, etc.) are uncommon
⇒ Mer/Sea-animal tails are rare
⇒ Dragonian tails are legendary
⇒ Escorpio that do NOT have a scorpion tail MUST have fangs that can inject venom. However...
⇒ Tails and fangs can be hidden!! All Escorpi have tails and/or fangs regardless, but actually drawing or utilizing these traits is entirely optional.
⇒ Some Non-scorpion tail Escorpi have a third eye on their tails, however this is an entirely optional trait with no rarity.
⇒ Non-scorpion tails still are capable of being venomous, but poison cannot be administered traditionally.

HORNS
⇒ No horns is a common trait! Escorpi without horns are not capable of using magic.
⇒ Small horns are an uncommon trait. Escorpi with small horns can use weak spells.
⇒ Large horns and Halo horns are rare. Escorpi with these types of horns can use stronger magic. However...
⇒ Escorpi magic works by 'charging'. To gain mana, an Escopi must somehow absorb magic. This can be from an item, or from being attacked by a spell.
⇒ Esorpi with legendary horns, on the other hand, can use magic without a charge source. Legendary horns are either halos within halos or eye covered halos, known as Ophanim horns.
⇒ These horns are typically hollow, but can be filled with magic energy as storage. The texture of them resembles ivory.
⇒ Broken horns will not typically kill an escorpi, but can be deeply painful, especially if the horns are of a legendary type.

WINGS
⇒ Wings can be any colour!
⇒ Black / near black wings are uncommon.
⇒ Mismatched wings (any colours) are rare.
⇒ It is possible for an Escorpi to have multiple wings, however this trait is rare!
⇒ Flowers or vines are rarely capable of growing on wings. The colour of the flowers typically matches the colour of the Escorpi's venom. There can be any kind of flowering growing on them!

MARKINGS AND COLOURS
⇒ Markings can look like anything! Typically there are no markings on the stomach / chest area, but there is so rarity irt placing them there.
⇒ The colours of the markings often utilize the colour of an Escorpi's venom, but this is not mandatory.
⇒ The eye colour, on the other hand, is ALWAYS the colour of the venom. This includes the eyes on the tail, or eyes on the wings or horns.
⇒ Markings are not mandatory, and many Escorpi will have few, if any, markings.

OTHER TRAITS
⇒ Rarely, an Escorpi will have eyes on their wings. These eyes are capable of sight, but their vision is blurry.
⇒ Multiple eyes on the tail is rare. For scorpion tails, the eyes will only be on the stinger.
⇒ Third eyes are uncommon. These can be horizontal or vertical.
⇒ More than three eyes located on the face is rare.
⇒ White and dark sclera are both common.
⇒ Mismatched sclera is uncommon.

OTHER INFO
⇒ Escorpi are creatures born from the union of Heaven and Hell, and as such have traits from both angels and demons.
⇒ Their bodies are completely hollow except for venom. When injured, they will bleed venom instead of blood.
⇒ They are known for being generally mischievous! Sometimes they will prick a human merely out of boredom.
⇒ A human, when pricked, will receive an Escorpi's mark wherever they were stung. The effect of this mark depends on the Escorpi, but are capable of altering a human's health or personality. There have been tales of selfish people becoming overbearingly generous after being stung.
⇒ Escorpi are essentially immortal, but are capable of being killed if their bodies are broken.
⇒ Their legs are long and slender! They are graceful and capable of balancing themselves on objects that would be impossible for a human to.
