My apologies for my inactivity lately! Artfight marks a year since my last update on here, which is crazy to think about. Here's a few updates from me:

1) I'm considering participating in this year's battle, but I'm a little hesitant due to how limited I am when it comes to making attacks. I don't want to be one of those people who draw 2-3 attacks and dip (not saying there is anything wrong with that, but I did that last year and I wanna get more involved!) My little sister has been bookmarking characters on Artfight for the past 2 months, and unlike her I haven't even started doing that! :'D I'm still thinking about it, but If you want me to take a look at your characters, feel free to drop a link to their Artfight profiles! (no humanoids pls)

2) Also I finally changed my username to @piineappies so it matches on all platforms! For the past couple years people have asked why, and it's really lame but I don't want people finding my art acc from my fursuit acc? Idk I like to keep them separate because I'm not super confident in my art, and I'm genuinely more proud of the fursuit content I make lol! However it's finally time to test the waters and see how it goes! I may change it back or to something else later

3) So about me!! I'm moving out of my parents' home soon, which is exciting (and a bit scary too!) I'll be studying Marine Biology! Back in March I had a bunch of fun at Texas Furry Fiesta with Jellafim, and we rampaged around Dallas as giant dogs :D Jella's recommended me some good shows, and because of him I have been fixated on The Owl House! My little sister and I have a few more episodes to go but I'm procrastinating because I don't want to finish it :( (no spoilers for the end of season two!!) Last but not least, my sister has forced me into the Genshin realm... which is odd because I don't watch anime? It reminds me a lot of my favorite game (BOTW) so it's tolerable (/lh it's actually fun I'll admit it)

4) Since I'm moving out, I'm selling characters to save up for an iPad!

For those who wanna keep up with my personal life, follow me on instagram (piineappies) because I'm much more active there lol. Even then, I'm awful with staying in touch with friends and I really appreciate those who have stuck with me. Some of you guys have known me since 2016, which was 6 years ago?? I don't know what's coming next in my life, so there will most likely continue to be inactivity, but I look forward to drawing as often as I used to someday. I've taken the past year to reflect on myself, not only as an artist, but as a person and I'm glad you all have been apart of my journey! :)

It's really cool getting to see you making such major strides in your life!! I know we haven't known each other very long relatively speaking, but I think you've grown a lot since then. I wish you the absolute best of luck with everything going forward and I can't wait to see what awesome stuff you'll do next!!! >:D marine biology sounds like a really interesting field of study, i'd love to hear about it sometime!

also, I'd encourage you to join Artfight even if you don't participate very much! There's nothing wrong with not drawing a lot, and as long as you have fun with it, why not do it? Don't worry about revenging every attack you get or making a ton of attacks, just draw what/when you feel like drawing and let yourself enjoy it!!!

I don't think I'm able to buy any characters rn ~~(and the one I'm most interested in is pending already </3 /lh)~~ but I'll definitely spread the word about it!! There's also that onbase custom which I'm waiting to pay for :3c
