personally i dislike funko pops because the base model they use for most of their characters simply sucks. the head is so fucking awful with those eyes and it’s questionably square shaped face

i’ve always found that any pop figure that deviates from the standard base in any way [usually the character is wearing a helmet or is simply not person shaped] is infinitely better. especially if it hasn’t got those bloody awful eyes

the only positive thing about funko pops is that they have made a pop figure for about 90% of characters that exist. so buying a funko pop of certain characters may be the best merch option for some fandoms. they’re not that expensive and they have a stupid large range of what they offer

i am writing this bcus there is this huge shop that is just 90% funko pops and 10% blind bags and everytime i go there i think about how much i hate the faces.
