Hey guys sorry for the delay in updates! Lifes been CRAZY lately. Lots of things happening between working on importing my car, my cats surgery, moving,  and other various life responsibilities. Plus it took awhile for everyone involved in the Ghost Investigation mentioned in the last update to collaborate on what happened, and organize our evidence. There was some weeeird stuff this time. So keep reading! Updates first, then ghosts~ This will be a long post! There was some WEIRD stuff!

So updates! To those I owe art, I'm very sorry Its taken me so long to get to things, I've been trying to stay in contact with most of you, but if I've missed anyone I'm very sorry! You're still in my queue and I will be working as soon as I return home because I have no Tablet at the moment, and only my husbands laptop.  I've been out of my country of residence for 4 weeks now due to the cats surgery and then my husband getting sick and being unable to come bring me home. My car is currently considered a foreign vehicle, as I'm an immigrant from another country and they're giving us a hassle getting it registered due to an accident history I was completely unaware of ._. SO we have one car atm, making things difficult. So I am truly very sorry and will be getting to everyone soon, but please give me time to work when I do get back home. Updates over, onto the ghosts!

The haunting in the South Hills Train Tunnel

As I mentioned in my last post, my best friend, husband, and I were all going camping in the deep south in a remote forest that's known for its rich history and haunted areas. One of these is a haunted train tunnel that started my obsession with the paranormal.

It was around 11 pm when we decided to head out, it was humid, everything was wet, and it was misting just enough to be annoying. A lot of the land around the forest has wetlands tucked inside of it, ponds and lakes, making a patchy blanket of fog spot the road. The road itself is a difficult drive without the patches of blinding fog, they're dirt back country roads that aren't maintained, have hairpin turns and rockface ledges along them. Its hard enough during the day, but we were driving at night, and the forests in these remote hills are so thick the darkness seems to swallow even the strongest of lights.   The drive was harrowing with the wet roads, and on the way there several odd things happened, several which we have caught on film and are discussing about making public. The first was a black cat running across the street in front of our car, which is on the footage. This was eerie, as we all know the superstition about a black cat crossing your path. But strays are common in this forest, so we didn't think much of it. A little further down the road from the cat, a vehicle came flying down the road, narrowly missing us. These roads are thin, and at the speeds they were going, they were either locals who knew them, or someone who was afraid of something.  The last, and oddest thing to happen on our drive, which unfortunately we only have audio of, was as we were arriving at the pull off for the tunnel we saw another pair of headlights approaching us, however this vehicle was moving much slower then the previous. We moved over to make room for them to pass, as I said, the roads are narrow... But it never passed, and the headlights that were in front of us, were suddenly no longer there. Like they vanished in thin air, and there are no other roads attached to the one we were traveling, its one way in, one way out. We couldn't make sense of it, but we had all heard about vanishing headlights before. But this was our first time witnessing it, at least we believe that's what happened.

After the eerie drive we finally arrived at the pull off, which is just a section of dirt worn into the grass by a bridge that has a decent sized creek. The path to the tunnel is a treacherous dirt walking path that follows along side the river, through the thick of this southern forest. The air was heavy, and thick with humidity that cast the forest in misty fog, making for low visibility and a difficult walk through the woods. Out here you have to watch for bear and boar, and not to mention the possible axe murderer hiding out in the forest, luckily we didn't encounter any of those. But we did run into a small group who was just finishing their investigation when we arrived at the tunnel. The tunnel itself was muggy, like your bathroom after a long, hot shower. Moisture clung to the air all around us, which made the already spooky tunnel, even spookier. We hung out with the group for a short time and discussed our previous findings, they told us that night they had a lot of activity, the weather seemed to be making the spirits restless they said. After about an hour of hanging out talking, and setting up, and having camera failure due to the humidity and how much water was in the air, we gave up on filming and began our investigation using only audio and a spirit box (A device that uses rapid radio frequencies to supposedly communicate with things we can't see).

We started the investigation slow, thanking the spirits for letting us come back, and asking permission to capture them on audio, its good to be polite even if you're unsure if you're only talking to thin air. My husband felt on edge already, saying something felt wrong. As our equipment guy, we had to convince him to stick around and not run back to the car like last time so we could accurately document the evidence, after all, we were already having camera trouble. We all felt something off though..

The first question we asked was the one which got us results last time, "Where are we?", but unlike last time we only got small blips of voice that could be something, or nothing. As we continued to ask things, we got very little at first, and were quickly growing disappointed when we finally seemed to start asking something of interest to them.

"How many of you are there?" My best friend asked.

"Manee" was the reply, spirit box voices sound odd but to us this sounded like "Many"

"Who am I speaking to, what is your name?" I asked next,

"Reich ardd" it ended in several blipped voices that sounded like "got to go now" and "still here" and jumps in frequency afterward, The name sounded like Richard, and possibly a couple signals cutting in, or maybe even the voices of others, but we weren't sure. Things were starting to get exciting, and also weirder, as we swore we kept hearing movement elsewhere in, or outside the tunnel. The occasional kick of a rock, or what sounded like a scuff.. those sort of small noises that set you on edge just enough to be paranoid. We didn't know if it was connected to the activity, or if we possibly weren't alone, and were left wondering if there was an animal or maybe even a person who was listening in.

But we continued to ask questions, once again asking where we were, where they had died at, what we were wearing, and general grounding questions We got very little after the first set of voices, but the blips and odd noises from the spirit box were picking up and becoming more frequent, with a couple possibly sounding like words.

Our investigation ended shortly after the garbled noises began to pick up, we kept hearing something around the tunnel and my husband was rushing us to get back to the car, and back to camp. It was pushing 2am at this point and we decided to call it a night because of the looming feeling we weren't alone. We headed back to the car along the only path in and out back through the depths of the deep south woods, constantly checking our backs and the forest around us to make sure whatever we heard wasn't trying to follow us back to the car. On the journey back however, there was one last little oddity. A glowing light in the bottom of the river halfway down the trail, a flashlight someone had either dropped or thrown in that wasn't there earlier. Our guess was it belonged to someone in the previous group we met who slipped and fell on their way out, the path is treacherous after all, at least, we're hoping that's all that happened to them.

After getting to the car, the night went back to being a normal night. Nothing exciting happened on the drive out but we were all left excitedly talking about the weird voices we had gotten and wondering what the hell was watching us in the foggy shadows of the trees. We're lucky nothing happened honestly, as campers have been found murdered in these woods on occasion.

I couldn't believe we got more evidence, and this time names. I don't know who you are Richard, or if I even have your name right, but I appreciate you talking to us and want to thank you for your time, even though you obliviously can't read this.

So what do you guys think?

We are currently in the process of planning our next investigation and obtaining better equipment! There is discussion among the group that we may make this investigations video and audio available, but there is a possibility we may not due to wanting to work on the production and formality of it before public release. Stick around for our next ghoulish adventure, and if you're interested in anything, feel free to drop me a PM!

(Believers/positive skeptics only please, I'm not here to argue with skeptics/non believers, I'm just here to hunt for evidence, I accept that the evidence we obtain may, and could be debunked, so please, don't PM me with your debunk-s, we've been doing so ourselves to the best of our ability to assure what we are documenting is legitimate.).

You were in a swampy area, “lakes ponds all around” and with the added mist it doubled your chances of experiencing the “other worldly.” When there’s high water content in the air it works as a conductor and from my own expierience that’s when things get....interesting.

Smoke can also be a really powerful conductor, any time there’s a high level of electricity in the atmosphere I’d swear there’s a spike in sightings of all manner of weirdness.

Thats a great observation! I actually noticed that as well with many of the abandoned buildings we've been to over the years. The ones with more water damage almost always seem more active, especially  waterlogged hospitals.

Spooky! I wonder if that’s what makes Liverpool a hotspot for the paranormal, that British weather.

Smoke is pretty powerful too, we live south of Paradise CA, a year ago the first night of the camp fire we were inendated with thick smoke. We have this old battery powered radio that’s been broken and hasn’t worked for years. That night it turned on by itself even though it didn’t have batteries and the switch was on off. It played for two hours, squelching, whining, making all kinds of weird sounds and a woman’s voice was saying some unsettling things.

The only way we can make sense of it is that it was running off the electricity in the air.

It turned on again briefly the next day but since then it hasn’t come on since.

Damn that'd be spooky as hell! I'd have someone inspect the radio after something like that and never bring it in my house again haha.

What was the voice saying? We picked up a lo of garbled voices but the only clear one we recieved that night was the one mentioned.

We like using the radio and spirit box but have been looking into a peice of equipment called and EMF reader that also translates changes in temperature and electromagnetic field into sound in hopes of getting more accurate results, and less interference from possible outside sources.

It’s good to be thorough, the clearer the evidence the better.

As for the radio, she said the name of the area we live in and then “massive losses.” We live a ways from where the fire was so our area wasn’t affected and had nothing to do with it. If it had kept burning at the speed it was initially it might have reached us in a week, thankfully it never did.

I don’t know if she “whoever or whatever she was” was trying to warn us about the camp fire if it had come are way or if she was trying to warn us about something else.

That's so spooky, something like thats definitely hard to get a reading on what her intentions were... Did she sound malicious at all or did she seem to be more serene about it?

Perhaps she was a victim herself to a wildfire of the past and was concerned for your well being? I assume even spirits can feel paranoid about things

I'm happy to hear your area wasn't effected by the fires though!
