The link page on your user profile displays all links you've created with your characters (or other people's characters). To create a link, you go to a specific character's profile and click the link button. From there, you can select another character to link with the first one. After selecting a character, you can press request link and then the two characters will be linked together. You can write what each character thinks of the other in the description boxes (or anything you'd like to write about the two) if you want or just leave it blank. I personally use it as a relationships tracker. Just to list down who is connected to who in my stories.
