I noticed Dropbox sharing no longer worked (for me, at least! raw=1 didn't do anything 😭) , so I searched around for a Google Drive option.
It's a bit of a pain, but it definitely works!
(Sharing the information I found from stackexchange and using a song off my drive)
If you share an MP3 by link, you obtain a link like this "https://drive.google.com/file/d/18xjyB4fR2uDgEG5_6wgyj7B6r2zYeKsx/view"
"18xjyB4fR2uDgEG5_6wgyj7B6r2zYeKsx" is the ID of your MP3 file.
Then you can obtain a direct link to this audio by pasting it after the "="
http://docs.google.com/uc?export=open&id=
becomes
http://docs.google.com/uc?export=open&id=18xjyB4fR2uDgEG5_6wgyj7B6r2zYeKsx
