That pretzel person sounds like something that happened to me. I traded so many characters did art that is basically 20 dollars in worth, and app currency for an adopt they had, and I have been eyeing for MONTHS cause I loved him to death! I did a lot for that one character and he had a 200 dollar value apparently( I honestly didn't see it worth that much), but I got mad at them too cause they overpriced by TRIPLE for a character my friend got from them and I called them out after they got mad at me too cause I changed his species into my personal one, and told me he was a different species of theirs which I never knew until I asked (this was before I found out about tos being irrelevant) cause I asked if can change it. They got mad at me but I left them alone. Anyways fast forward like three months later, some anonymous user came to ask if I had them for sale and I was confused cause I already had got art, shipped them, MADE them part of my story ark as I don't have adopts part of it out of possibly selling or changing them and only have the OCS I make in it. "I told them no?!" this person was a weirdo cause I have all my characters are hidden and I asked how they got the screenshot? Than it click and I basically called them out saying "I know your friend is trying to do whatever to get them back, but no". Threatened to get a lawyer on me but I was smart since during those three months I did a lot of research on owning designs, characters, and art! I had edited one of their references to make him my species as at the time I couldn't do whole new reference but did CREDIT them and Myself like it was a collab!! They wanted to get a lawyer on me if I didn't give back the character and cause I edited the art, like are you that insecure?! My smart self threw all the crap had screenshots of the agreement of me getting the character and the person did the same thing like pretzel try to remove every form of evidence but I am smart, Toyhouse and amino don't entirely delete everything they show evidence even after deletion. I put everything in word just in case, even took a photo of them getting them and having them in my th and they responding to me having him. They try to get a leader on me but the amino leaders on the Main adopt community told them they can't do anything about it in there face, "artist tos doesn't go above Law". Like what was this person SMoking?! Sorry I had to vent this. I have all forms of proof on him now cause of it just in case! My god people are assholes.
