1. oh Earth was the loosing side of the war and a good chunk of all their robots wound up scrapped because the other side of the war are snobs who don't bother with using any robots that aren't their own
2. something lightweight and versatile like aluminum I'd say, that or some yet unnamed space metal
3. he does feel them but very dully as he's not supposed to but being an older robot leads to little quirks like that in my world
