You don’t have to, I just put it in as placeholder text. You can write whatever you want there, I noticed you usually write short blurbs about the character so that would work fine.
There should be a "Manage Character" link on the sidebar, which when clicked opens a dropdown. One of the items in the dropdown is "Edit Character," that should take you to the edit page.
