There are also subclasses if you'd like me to ramble a bit about that.

That's a super cool idea!!! They'd have plenty of chances to show off and have their ego stoked as a performer, and a tsundere Paladin sounds priceless. Paladins usually worship a god, and that god gives them powers to carry out their higher calling. Gotta love a holier-than-thou character arc.

Yes I love these ideas! And I love rambling about dnd! Any specifics about this fellas looks do you think?

When did you get into DND? Recently? Years ago? I don't wanna under explain and be unhelpful but I also don't want to overexplain to a boring level.
Maybe College of Eloquence for bard? Super refined vibes, or maybe College of Swords for a more refined duelist.

For Paladin I'd totally recommend Oath of Secrecy- these guys are usually assigned to protect a single person or get more into politics than the average Paladin. They're very well read but still super strong. So like.... classic set up for bodyguard romance, lol.

I've been doing it for just a little over a year, how about you? I've heard of the schools and oaths, but only slightly. I was a half elf sorcerer using chaos magic most recently, but i've had quite a few one shot characters (I once created a female version of Puss n Boots XD)

I was thinking if i made a paladin maybe could it be that the person he protected died, so he(or she) has abandonment issues? would that work though?

Oh cool! I hope you've been having a lot of fun! Aha, that's a complicated question. Grew up in a household that was very much caught up in the whole 'd&d is a gateway to the occult' so while I've had an interest in it for about two years, watching my friends play, I've only gotten the chance to do so myself within the past 6 months.
OOOOO, that sounds like so much fun!! Tabaxi are just amazing, so many opportunities. How can you go wrong with cats?

It's dnd! Ofc you should talk to your DM if you plan on playing this character, but I don't see why they wouldn't be okay with it! Great thing is just how much creative liberty you can take with your characters, and I feel like that story would be very compelling.

Ah I see, my grandparents ae like so we never tell them about it. AND YES! I love cats so much! And furries... which is why i love making large cat characters (there was a lion race and I made a ranger of him, he spoke in a southern accent i loved him!)

Yea! I was thinking they would have red skin and lots of tatts and piercings, so they would seem edgy but be a huge sweetheart. :O
