i think an excellent resource to look at a bunch of alleles/codes in one place is the cat coat calculator by Sparrow, if you look at the drop-downs and stuff it'll tell you what's what, with the letters next to it!
i'll put some under the spoiler:
fur length:
LL - short-haired
Ll - short-haired, carries long
ll - long-haired
agouti (tabby):
AA - tabby
Aa - tabby, carries solid
aa - solid
inhibitor / silver gene:
ii - non-silver
II - silver
Ii - silver, carries non-silver
white spotting:
ww - no white
Wsw - under 50% white
WsWs - over 50% white
colorpoint (siamese):
CC - not pointed
Ccs - not pointed, carries pointed
cscs - colorpoint
(there's a LOT of different types of colorpoints, but this is just like... your average colorpoint cat)
dilution:
DD - non-diluted
Dd - non-diluted, carries dilute
dd - dilute
colors:
B = black
b = chocolate
b1 = cinnamon
O = orange
o = not orange (the cat will appear as black, chocolate, or cinnamon)
i'd definitely recommend checking out the link for more!
