Bustafellows! I don't know if Visual Novels/Otome games would be something you're interested in, but it's definitely a Ride of a game. Kintsugi was brought up briefly by a side character but it ends up being something that makes you go hmmm :thinkingemoji: once more stuff is revealed about them! (also I feel I should mention this character is voiced by Chrom's JP voice actor lol)
Game can get pretty dark at times and some of the bad ends are pretty depressingly tragic. While I have some gripes with story, overall I found it super enjoyable!

I was actually talking about visual novels with someone recently! It might've been about Fate/Tsukihime/Type-Moon stuff? I told him I've only played one (1) vn before (it was Hatoful Boyfriend 👀) until I realized that, oh, Ace Attorney is a visual novel isn't it. I've played most of those! I said as much and he was like "omg... a revelation... I gotta sit down."

The game took me ~40hrs-ish so it's kinda a long read, but it's a fun one to go through! since it takes place in fictional New York they make a lot of references to real world things and there's some funny stuff! I also consider the American setting just kinda really relatable and refreshing since a lot of VNs tend to be very Japanese or fantasy.
Ah man, Type-Moon series is like, peak VN lol. Fate series can be intimidating to get into because there's A Lot and iirc the VNs are quite long (also they do contain like, actual explicit nsfw scenes lol, Tsukihime esp,). lol Hatoful is a great VN and Ace Attorney does in fact count! it just has a bit more gameplay going on. (btw Bustafellows has a lawyer boy and he does lawyer things and a lot of his route reminded me of AA!)
