I’ve got a dog plush from my childhood. My aunt gave it to me and even though I’m no longer a child I still sleep with it around me. Similar applies to my possum (got it from my grandma) which my parents dubbed roadkill because the fabric never really washed right in the washing machine so it’s kinda funky looking. I love both of them and still struggle to sleep without them lol.
