they see you as a women because they are transphobic half-wits and they are obsessed with policing the bodies of women. they don't want (people they see as) women to have sex, they don't want women to have control over their bodies, and they want women to suffer and die for their perceived disobedience. 

i would encourage you to look at the laws in your state regarding trans youth, because they are also growing increasingly horrific. There was a 16 year old in Tennessee who was fined with truancy and taken away from her parents (possibly put into foster care?) because her school was being outrageously transphobic so she opted not to go. It's not just a lack of medical care at this point; some states are considering charging parents and/or teachers who use the correct pronouns for their child with child abuse.
