those quotes fucking broke me. i cannot believe people can be so cruel, so sexist. this is the 21st century why the FUCK are we still debating whether women should have the right to their OWN DAMN BODIES. i feel so lucky to be in a state that supports abortion, but im over here bawling because of this - i cannot even imagine how scary this must be for those in unsupportive states.

and seriously?? ban condoms?? the least u can do is prevent pregnancy like what the fuck?? those quotes OH MY GOSH. "the female body has ways to try to shut it down" no??? it doesnt?? it is honestly sad to see doctors have to spend 3 days deciding which is more valuable, a human life or a clump of cells. and OH MY GOD lawrence's quote OHOHO you actually??? said that?? that quote basically told us all that it is A-OKAY to be raped because MEN ARE STRONGER and cant keep it in their fucking pants

it is sad that afabs have to grow up in a world where an entire political PARTY believes it is their fault if they are sexually harrassed, but men are okay todo whatever the FUCK they want.

is it ok if i repost this on my profile?? id like to give any of my anti-choice subs a big fat FUCK OFF.

YES of course you can repost this, I think that everyone needs to be aware of how disgusting and vile the things happening in the US right now are.

Conservative men feel that they are owed women's bodies, than women are nothing more than breeding machines to pop out 2.5 kids -- or they see pregnancy as some sort of divine punishment for women who (god forbid) have and enjoy sex. That's why they want to ban condoms. They don't care if women die trying to do their own abortions or by suicide because they don't want to have a kid, they hate them for existing and possibly for having had sex. They don't care if women die in childbirth because 'these things happen' (but really because they do not see women as people).

When (male) doctors first started being responsible for births instead of (female) midwives, the death rate for women giving birth massively increased. You know why?
Because they prioritized the lives of the (could be a male) baby over the lives of the (adult with families and possibly children and loved ones and hobbies and personalities and wants and dreams) women.
