RIGHT!! Fetuses are not life, they're just clumps of cells completely reliant on the mother. They're not their own independent, viable organism -- they're an extension of the mother's body for most of pregnancy. Treating them as living people just raises a load of questions that should not have to be answered (and really, ones which cannot be answered in a satisfactory way). For instance, is one embryo absorbing the other in uteri murder? What about miscarriages, who's responsible there? Fertilized fetuses die/are not viable all the time in utero for a variety of reasons, they are literally on the same level as sperm and eggs.
