THERE'S ALOT TO GET INTO !! but ill start with the basics; monster hunter is a game where you take the role of a 'hunter' (self explanatory!) in a world full of large creatures called WYVERNS !!!!!!!
you the hunter, is tasked (in mainline, usually) with hunting various wyverns and using materials from said wyverns to craft armors, weapons and items to increase your arsenal !!!!!
the mainline weapons include; greatsword, longsword, dual blades, sword and shield, hammer, hunting horn, lance, gunlance, swaxe (switch axe), charge blade, insect glaive, light bowgun, heavy bowgun, and bow!!!!!
the weapons are each divided into two (?) categories, blademaster and gunner!!! (melee and ranged, basically)
there are, however stronger creatures (still wyverns, i think) that your hunter is tasked with hunting, called ELDER DRAGONS!!! they are as powerful as you'd expect, usually controlling one or more of the various elements of the series (fire, water, blast, ice, etc) much more carefully than regular old wyverns. elder dragons are generally capable of mass destruction, and widely feared by all of humans in the world!!
a couple examples of elder dragons would be; Teostra, Fatalis, Dalamadur(the guy i based the dragon i made for you off of!!), Alatreon, and, one of my personal favorites- Shagaru Magala!!!

you can play it on all sortsa devices!!! for world(the one i suggest), you can play on xbox 1, ps4, and pc! for rise, you can play on switch and pc, generations is on switch, and some other games are on 3ds, playStation 2, playStation 3, playStation vita, wii, wii U, and xbox 360 :D !! bUT AGAin the one i most suggest playing is world, which is on xbox 1, ps4 and pc :]]
THO UHH headsup, the games aree pretty expensive :0 (specifically world and rise)
does it work on ps5 becurse my dad has one that he lets me play on and i have a ps4 and me and sister share a swich so this is great i will get it when i go to my dads house next^^ or at least try
Hello my dear friend I tuck a look at monster hunter but it doesn't overly interest me ty for recommending it through also are you into driving and racing games because if so I gust got but into a game I haven't played in like 2 years called need for speed heat I really like the game and if you did like it I have a mic so we could talk well we played and I play on PS4

I'll check it out it looks fun and I'm into it what can you play it on gust so I know and I think the designs in it are pretty cool to!

UNFOrtunately theres no mh games on ps5 that i know of :( BUT !! at least you have your ps4 + switch hehe :D!!!
