You can actually customize your own profile for free, it just requires a little bit of html knowledge.. but it's not as hard you think! ^^ The difference between html and the premium feature you're talking about (which is CSS) is that html is only restricted for your home profile whereas the premium feature allows you to customize every section of your profile! (such as the sidebars, character thumbnail frames, fonts, the entire background, etc...) I have a fav folder dedicated to free html user profiles if that helps! ><
