Ah, thank you for the warning and apologies for the late reply! Has the original artist been informed about the theft, and is there a thread or anything I can look at for more info/proof?
The artist was the one who told me about the theft! I'm doing this on their behalf because they didn't want to go public due to fear of harassment.
As for proof I did take screenshots from discord where they originally posted the designs way back when (in 2020) They also posted the art on a twitter but thats been suspended, so all we have is the discord postings. Its currently 3 am here and I'm on mobile, so its a bit hard getting the many screenshots needed; but if you can just wait until the morning/noon, I can get the screenshots of proof.
The original artist has also privately gone to the admins to talk to them about it, and hopefully this has gotten sorted out
Oh, gosh, that's one heck of a situation and it's COMPLETELY understandable that the original artist wants to stay anonymous! I'll be placing the character on auth-only (in case you end up needing to screenshot or report their profile-- after this has been worked out with the admin, I'll delete them outright), and would like to look at the screenshots when you find yourself a free moment. Thanks again for the warning, and please tell the original artist that I send my regards!
I'll send the screenshots now! Sorry if the images are a little on the small side, toyhouse doesn't let users upload images from the file folder so I had to use screengrab. (the user in the screenshot is the original artist btw, they just have a nickname in our server)
Well, I'll be darned... Yup, that's just blatant theft right there. Fingers crossed that y'all can get this resolved, and let me know if there's any way I can help beyond filing a report!
