the music player is a youtube embed, so it should use your normal youtube settings. there's unfortunately no way to show the controls without showing the whole video player (which i personally think is super ugly), and the whole player wouldn't slot into the code the same way :'[ ...however, you should be able to lower the volume by playing the song and tapping the 'down' key a couple times!
if that doesn't work for you you also have the option of removing the music player entirely - let me know if you need help with this and i can show you which lines to get rid of :'D
thank you so much for taking time out to help me! the down arrow solution is just fine, honestly i was probably going to ask you if there was some way to have the video automatically play at 50% volume automatically but this just means i can manually adjust it as i see fit :]
