If we talk about games with 3D models, one of my personal favorites was Mysterious Times/Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardy. It was... wanky, but so fun to play. The designs were cute and it was fun to mess with spells and special events! I also like Rule of Rose and Fragile Dreams quite a lot because of the storytelling and eerie vibes... I'm more into indie horror RPGMs now, though (Cell of Empireo, END ROLL, Witch's Heart and so on). I'd love to know about your faves TvT
Faved more than three characters because they're AMAZING, but take Peter, Paradox and Jack for reference!

(also I'VE HEARD OF RULE OF ROSE!! its actually on my list of games i really want to play at some point - i've not heard of any of these other games though!! i'll have to give them a look, especially the indie horror RPGMs, i have a such a soft spot for those oTL... if we're talking my favorite RPGM, i know theyre like, The Classics but ive always been a fan of ib and ao oni! for games in general though, one that im obsessed with is drakengard 1! i have yet to play the other entries in the series - im trying to play them in order, with nier:automata technically being the last - and honestly the gameplay isnt... the best at all, but its one of my favorites just cuz of how unapologetically dark and gritty and strange the story is.
the OST in particular tends to be either loved or hated with a PASSION but personally im in love with it 9_9;; its super expressionistic and unconventional and perfectly fits the desperate, grotesque energy of the story, and depending on how you analyze it the OST lends itself really well to both the twisted mentality of the protagonist and its heavy anti-war allegories!! i can never shut up about it LMAO anyway these are my favorite tracks from it xxxxx
