Drawn to them lol. Don't see a lot of glowly characters and lava lamp based one's around much. At least for me. I don't have much luck. Took matters into my own hands and my own.
I finally got one for Christmas, sadly it was a dude, the wax would never flow. Just kinda sat at the top and bottom. I eventually got another and my current one works. I still have my old one at times. Still nice to look at, just wish the wax would flow. I've been trying to get my boyfriend an orange one but their so hard to find and expensive. Some of my lava Lamp peeps belong to my boyfriend but I uploaded them all with mine. His main one is an orange. So I wanted to get one based off his. Mine is a blue one so my first was blue, like said before, sadly a dud. I love to use mine as nightlite most of the time.
Oooh, that's very nice! Sad to hear about the defunct lava lamp, one of my previous ones had that same sort of thing where the wax never moves, but it was cause I left it on over night and it burned the wax too much. But I currently keep 2 of them, one I got from walmart eventually and one at a thrift store, mostly in a new condition or was just never used. If you ever look at N.A, my main sona, the alt one with the red/blue lava lamp horns, wings & tail are based off my real ones. ^^
It was a bummer but I'm over it at least. My mom kept suggested I leave it on over night and it never seemed right. So I never did that. I bought one off Amazon and the other off Walmart. I'd really want a vintage one from Mathmos but they arn't shipping out of country. It's a vintage Lava Lamp company over in Britian. I wish they would extend where they could ship stuff to. Ooooo nice. I did that with my current one as well. It's based off my boyfriends oc Anthony, 80's lava lamp skater dude.

I know how you feel, lava lamp characters are something I don't see much either, they're cool to look at when ever I come across one though
